Eastman Lift was first incorporated in 1990 specialized in Rental of Material Handling Equipment and sales of used equipment. For the first

20 Years from incorporation, the company has always been dependence on renting the premises of their joint venture partners to provide pre-delivery inspection of the rental trucks and minor repair and maintenance service. In year 2000, the managing Director Mr. Andrew Tan successfully launched a MBO of the company acquiring the controlling interest from the joint venture partners. At that time, the economic climate in Singapore was very challenging coupled with drastic reduction in rental market demand, Mr. Tan decided to embark on product diversification by providing repair services for all major brands of Fork lifts. With new additional focus on service and repairs, the challenges face by the company includes increasing plant and machineries facilities needs as well as enlarging shop floor space substantially.

Riding on the quality rental service provided in the past, the company continues to maintain the principle of customers' satisfaction as their top priority. This has led to many clients using multiple brands also engaging their service.

In year 2012, the company embark on another major project by building their own factory with designated space allocation for specific repair functions., The company obtain their TOP to move into their present premises which can cater to repair of any size and brands of fork lift trucks. With new facilities, new strategic directions, it is the company's objective to advance to the next quality service level catering to all the clients who have needs for the usage fork lift trucks.
